Bird Dog Realty works with buyers and sellers in Sonoma, Napa and Marin. From the first conversation about what you’re looking for through negotiating and closing, I’ll help you find and acquire the best value to match your needs. I’ve represented buyers and sellers of personal residences, businesses and hospitality properties.

Bird dogs became part of my life when I was a kid and met and fell for my Uncle’s dog, Lemon, an English Pointer. Since then I’ve had seven German Shorthaired Pointers - our current girl, Talladega, and boy, Leopold, are rescues from NorCal GSP Rescue. GSPs are one of a small number of breeds designated as Versatile Hunting Dogs meaning they “dependably hunt and point game and retrieve on both land and water.” Kind of like what good Realtors do.

MY NAME IS SUE

I moved to San Francisco from Florida thirty years ago to continue my career in financial services with Visa. Nearly twenty years ago, my husband and I, ready to move on from corporate life, moved to Sonoma and started Sonoma Dog Camp, a business we still own. I began my real estate career in 2010 as co-owner of HWY 12 Properties. In 2018, I earned my broker’s license and started Bird Dog Realty as a solo real estate practice doing business in Sonoma, Napa and Marin.

Resources

I lease two commercial properties in Sonoma and am the landlord for a third. Over the years I’ve had plenty of opportunities to call in plumbers, electricians, roofers, landscapers, engineers and other professionals to help with issues as they come up. In the process I’ve developed a list of homeowner resources I think are the best around. I make that list available to my clients.
